Wedding Dance

Would you like to WOW your wedding guests with your first dance together as a new couple?   I specialise in choreographing wedding dances and teaching people to dance Modern Jive.  I can create a simple routine or something more unique to suit your music and personalities.  If you don’t have a song already, I can help you find one.   

 

I have found that starting your dance at least 3 months out from your big day gives you plenty of time to learn the routine with ample of time to practice.  I give four lessons (more if needed) to teach you the basics of Modern Jive and to teach you your unique routine.  This also can be some great quality time together leading up to your special day.  

 

Wedding package includes:

  • 4 x 60min lessons (more if needed)
  • Choreographed routine to music of your choice
  • Free private dance lesson after your big day (my wedding gift to you)

Private Lessons

Want to learn to dance but don’t want to learn in a big class rotating around a room of strangers?  Want to learn in the comfort of your own home?  Then look no further as I will come to you!  That’s right, all you need is a bit of space to move.

3m x 3m is all you need.  I have taught on lino, carpet, wood and tile so flooring is not a problem.  Or, if you prefer you can come to me.

Lessons are $50 for 60mins

 

SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS

Do you have a few friends that are also keen to learn to dance?  I offer group lessons at discounted prices. 

  • 2 couples $80 ($20pp)
  • 3 couples $120 ($20pp)

  • 4 couples $120 ($15pp)

Team Building

Are you looking for a team building exercise for your business/workplace?  Modern Jive is a wonderful way to boost morale.  Your team will feel connected, valued, will build trust and genuinely enjoy time together as each person listens to their dance partner communicate through lead and follow roles.  Learning to dance is an amazing way to build confidence not only in oneself but also in each other.
